For this blog, I will be discussing Microsoft. It is ranked # 2 among the top 10 companies in the United States, according to Market Cap (Das, 2022). Market Cap are the stocks that are listed on both the NASDAQ Stock Market and NYSE Stock Exchange. It’s listed on the NASDAQ & the NYSE as MSFT.
Here is the SWOT Analysis of Microsoft:

| OPPURTUNITY Increasing adoption of cloud computing services could lead to cope up with technology advancement. Increasing global IoT market will enable to drive strong revenues. Strategic acquisitions enhance its business operations. | THREAT Intense competition increases the risk across the market. Fluctuations in foreign currency which leads to economic risk. Security breach could lead to data leak and cause lack in confidence among customers. (Microsoft Corporation SWOT Analysis, 2022). |
Microsoft’s main business is software systems and personal computers. But it also owns and operates a vast variety of other products for consumer usage. According to Andrew, Microsoft brings the ability to constantly listen, learn, experiment and push yourself to do better (Andrew, 2019). By doing this, you have the ability to put yourself in your customer’s shoe’s and meeting their needs and wants. Microsoft is currently very profitable. Its current net worth for the 2022 fiscal year is $1892 billion (Microsoft Net Worth2022: Assets Income Revenue PE Ratio, 2022).
